MicroTech excels in producing high-quality near- and mid-infrared LEDs and photodiodes, essential for numerous analytical and sensing applications. Their LEDs cover wavelengths from 1000 nm to 4300 nm, while their photodiodes have cut-off wavelengths up to 5000 nm. These components are ideal for NDIR gas sensing, and analysis of various samples. Infrared radiation can be emitted by objects that are not hot enough to emit visible light, making it useful for thermal imaging and night vision. Various sensors and detectors, such as photodiodes and bolometers, are used to detect infrared radiation.
