Frankfurt Laser Company Launches Revolutionary Visible DFB Laser Diodes for Precision Applications
Frankfurt Laser Company (FLC) proudly announces the release of a groundbreaking series of Visible Distributed Feedback (DFB) Laser Diodes, covering key wavelengths in the visible spectrum: 405 nm, 450 nm, 488 nm, and 515 nm. Designed for cutting-edge scientific, industrial, and medical applications, these lasers deliver exceptional wavelength stability, narrow linewidth, and superior beam quality — setting new performance standards for visible DFB technology.
The new FESL Visible DFB series extends FLC’s leadership in precision semiconductor lasers, offering single longitudinal mode operation with linewidths as low as 1–2 MHz and outstanding polarization extinction ratios (>20 dB). Packaged in compact TO-56 housings, these diodes provide consistent performance for demanding environments, including biomedical instrumentation, spectroscopy, interferometry, holography, quantum optics, and fluorescence excitation.
“With the introduction of these visible DFB lasers, we’re bridging the gap between stability and spectral purity in the visible range,” says Dr. Steffen Driever, Sales & Product Manager at Frankfurt Laser Company. “Researchers and engineers can now rely on compact, energy-efficient sources that rival much larger external cavity designs.”
